Standard First Aid Kit: Usual band aids, sterile dressings,

Field Preparation: Sterile sheets, fenestrated sheets. Personal protection: face masks, gowns, disinfectants eg. Betadene, alcohol, Hibiclens

Diagnostic: blood pressure, stethoscope, otoscope, thermometer, optional urine tests.

Skin lacerations: medical superglue, stapler. Surgical instruments (laceration kit), one nylon 4.0 suture (will place several sutures). Burn treatment, including Silvadene. Foreign body skin: sterile scalpel, cautery to evacuate blood. Local (topical) anesthetic.

Orthopedic: arm sling, fiberglass splints, aluminium  finger and thumb splints

We prefer that all orders for bags are placed at least three weeks before the course. Orders placed at the course will not be filled at the course and may incur shipping and handling charges. WE STRONGLY ADVISE that anyone purchasing the kit attend the course and get the discount.


Medications. These are only prescribed to those attending the seminars: nausea, skin allergies, anxiety, burns, vaginal fungal infections, pain relief (non controlled), prostate problems, general and urinary tract infections, eye drops. Please note that medications will vary depending on which ones are available at reasonable cost. Dr. Rakkar will issue a prescription and the cost of the medications (cash price) is in addition to the price of the bag. We believe that the cost of the medications will be about $180, at current prices, but will vary.
